 Theatre Winter Haven
In 1970, the Theatre Winter Haven was established in the city of Winter Haven, Florida that provides exceptional theatrical experiences for their local community. They conduct over 120 performances each year and greatly contribute to the economic security of Polk County. They are also registered as a nonprofit organization and rely heavily on thousands of hours of volunteering each year.

The Mainstage Theatre is located at The Chain O’ Lakes Park on Cypress Gardens Blvd. in Winter Haven and has been the main hub for theatrical performances since 1977.

The Theatre includes both musicals and plays, with seats for 332 guests. In 2019, after extensive renovations, the complex became known as the Chain O’ Lakes Park.

This complex now includes the new Fieldhouse and Conference Center along with new lighting, entrances and an expanded lobby. The Theatre also offers reservations for booking field trips or reserving a block of 10 or more seats for your school or community group.

Theatre White Haven also features the Chain O’ Lakes Stadium, located just behind the theatre, for outdoor entertainment on some Fridays and Sundays. They showcase outdoor concerts at a socially distanced venue where you can bring along lawn chairs and your favorite outdoor games to share some fun with your family and friends.

Theatre Winter Haven Academy is also available for anyone interested in taking part in some of the theatre’s productions. They hold virtual auditions for all of their castings and the information could all be found by visiting their website. They also offer training at the Academy for theatre and dance classes for all ages. The areas of training include acting, improvisation, voice, and dance and no experience is necessary to sign up.

They have accommodations for wheelchair accessibility and hearing assistance for those who might need it. Water, soda and light snacks are available before the show and during intermission, but no outside food or drinks will be permitted. They also do not allow photography or any recording devices, including cell phones, iPads, or other electrical equipment during events or performances.
