Banana Lake Park

 Banana Lake Park
Banana Lake Park is said to be a local favorite park. It is located behind a residential area, but it is 10 acres of land that looks at the lake named Banana Grove.

Located in the park are seven picnic shelters with tables available. There are plenty of shade trees throughout the park. The trail to get anywhere is all paved and smooth. There is a playground that has plenty of fun options for kids that include a rope jungle gym, different slides, and small rock climbing walls.

Banana Lake park is also a boater friendly park. There is a ramp on the site and many parking places for vehicles as well as trailers. If you don’t have a boat there is also a fishing pier that is available. Contact the park for the hours, and Florida Fishing Wildlife for the license requirements.

The park does have a bathroom facility, however there are no water fountains. If you’re interested in using the picnic areas be aware that there are no grills available. It is known to be a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors along with enjoying the views of the lake.
