Cypress Gardens Waterski Show

 Cypress Gardens Waterski Show
Cypress Gardens was the most popular family owned theme park before Walt Disney World opened. It is known for its beautiful landscape of flowers and most importantly its exciting water ski show. The first show was held in 1943. It was known as the “longest running entertainment in the world”.

After Legoland bought the area known as Cypress Gardens, the world famous ski team relocated and offers a world class ski show each month on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

It is a recurring event that has free admission and located on Lake Silver. The water ski show was started by former skiers who wanted to pass their skiing legacy to the next generation.

The team members range in age from toddlers to even a couple of people in their 60’s. The teams goals are to continue to entertain central Florida audiences as well as keep passing on the shows to the next generations. The shows are held rain or shine, however lightning will cancel it.

Included in fun events are concession areas that serve burgers, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks. There are also areas that sell t-shirts and hats. The officials recommend you bring your own blanket or lawn chairs for sitting.
