Dobbins Park

 Dobbins Park
Dobbins park, one of the oldest in the city of Lakeland, has over 10 acres of recreational opportunities. The park opened in 1954 and received $450,000 in 1994 to upgrade the children’s playground equipment. It is a great park that offers tons of space for recreation areas and nature preserves that are open to the public.

Along with having 10 acres of land there are many unique features, including two playgrounds, and also a zip line. It also has multiple swings, climbing structures, and a multi purpose field next to the playground.

The playground is partially fenced in near the road and it opens up to the multi use field. Pavilions that have picnic areas are also available on a first come first serve basis. Also located nearby are the restrooms.

It is a perfect park for sports and picnics. With both playgrounds there is also covered pavilions, paved walking paths, basketball and volleyball courts as well as large multi purpose fields. There is also a bike repair station.
