Explorations V Children’s Museum is a place for kids to embrace their imagination and creativity while stimulating the five senses and learning new things. This Children’s Museum has three floors of endless possibilities. The first floor is an educational area for youths to discover art, music, theater, math, science, and history while using creativity. On the second floor, you can explore the children’s art gallery, create art on the wall-sized chalkboard, and visit temporary exhibitions. On the lower floor, children will learn about local history. Field trips and homeschool workshops are offered, you can also purchase experimental boxes. Parties and after hour events are also available.
The museums' programs include Mini Camp, Ready to Read, Virtual Workshops, and Sensory Monday’s. Be sure to check the website as programs change. Areas within Explorations V Children’s Museum include Theater, Music & Sound, Exploration Store, News Station, MarkerSpace, Travel with Exploration V, First Responders, Tot Spot, Marvelous Me, “O” is for Oranges- From Seed to Our World, Dragon of Toys, Fossils of Florida, and Go Green. Preform on stage, create music, explore the supermarket, become a news anchor, or extinguish a simulated fire. The Tot Spot is an excellent area for 4-year-olds or younger to explore, build, climb, and read.
