Fantasy of Flight

Fantasy of Flight opened its doors in 1995. Founder, Kermit Weeks, started his aviation career in his teens when he built his first plane and learned how to fly.
His passion took flight from there and he became interested in restoring vintage planes. In addition to his flying career, Weeks has also written books and won many awards for his planes.

Located in Polk City, Fantasy of Flight is home to the "world’s greatest collection of vintage aircraft." This unique collection of flying machines includes aircraft from the early 1900's through the beginning of the jet age in the 1950's. The models were all restored to be in flying condition. Flight of Fantasy also offers a unique gift shop with gifts and souvenirs that are not found anywhere else.

For those with a passion for flight, and for history buffs in general, this is a great place to discover a niche of aviation history.
