The Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture in Lakeland Florida provides a home for the display of photographs, furniture, and drawings about Wright’s relationship with the Florida Southern College. The center is also home to visiting exhibits from various Wright sites.
Reservations are available based on tour guide availability that will give a more in depth and guided experience. Any group larger than ten guests are required to schedule a specialty group tour through their website or over the phone.
There are self guided walking tour maps that are eligible for purchase inside the Tourism and Education Center. There is also a Unosian house that was designed by Frank Wright in 1939 that gives you an inside view.
A newly added tour allows visitors to experience Wright’s structures lit by artificial light. It is roughly 90 minutes and reservations are required.
Tours meet up at the GEICO Gift shop inside the Tourism and Education Center. Parking is available across the street at Florida Southern College. Contact the officials for special perking instructions for buses and other large vehicles.
