Homeland Heritage Park

 Homeland Heritage Park
Homeland Heritage Park is a fantastic place for kids to learn about early Florida history. This park represents an early Florida historical community dating back to the mid 1800's.

The historical buildings featured within the park are the Homeland schoolhouse and church, the Raulerson house, English Log Cabin, and Pole Barn. There is also a variety of machinery on display and plaques in front of the buildings with descriptions and other historical information. This place is great for kids and they welcome large groups. They also have games and activities for the kids.

You can walk around on your own or take a tour. In fact, you can walk around the area and look at the buildings even when the park is closed. Tours are given throughout the week and on weekends by appointment.

Homeland also holds several public events and activities throughout the year. The historical church and picnic pavilion are also open for group/wedding rentals.
