Lake Parker Park has a variety of amenities including picnic pavilions, playground, tennis courts, playgrounds, soccer fields, boat ramp, walking paths, Shuffleboard facility and pickle-ball court.
It also has Rotary Park, a themed playground for kids.
The walking paths include the Forest Path that parallels the Lake Parker shoreline, the Water Path, a loop that takes you through the wetlands, the Soccer Path that surrounds the soccer field and the North Path that circles the parks northern facilities. The North path also takes you on a bridge over the canal that connects to other lakes.
There is fishing available at this park which is considered one of the largest freshwater fishing lakes in Lakeland. The lake is stocked with Largemouth Bass and Bluegill.
There is also an abundance of birds and wildlife like herons, alligators and turtles.
There is plenty of free parking and the walking paths are paved making them accessible to strollers, bikes, rollerblading and wheelchairs. If you wish to rent out the picnic pavilion, you will need to call and reserve it ahead of time.
The park is located near Lakeland's Joker Marchant Baseball Stadium.
