Mackay Gardens and Lakeside Preserve
Alexander Mackey, a Scottish entrepreneur and investor, built The Mackey Estate on Lake Rochelle in 1915. This 8,000-square-foot residence is filled with character, beauty and awe. The wide porch, beautiful staircases, outside Gazebo and breathtaking views make Mackay Gardens and Lakeside Preserve a place you will not want to miss.
In addition to the amazing residence, there are also several other things to do during your visit. There are nature trails, a paved bike path along Mackey Boulevard, a dock and canoe launch area, a playground and nature tours.
You can also book your own private events or weddings at this ideal location where your breathtaking ceremony will be followed by the most elegant reception in the grand ballroom, which features an amazing open staircase and dual fireplaces, creating an unforgettable experience.
