Marshall Hampton Reserve is larger than 1,100 acres and is home to live oaks, slash pine, sweet gum, and palmettos.
The reserve offers more than 7-miles of trails for hikers, joggers, and horseback riders to enjoy. The trails, Osprey Overlook, Panther Point, Acorn Hammock, and Palmetto Loop each have their own unique and beautiful qualities for visitors to appreciate. Some trails are longer than others, the amount of shade differs on each trail as does the level of ease.
Some of the animal wildlife that can be found at Marshall Hampton Reserve include foxes, bobcats, squirrels, alligators, wild turkeys, owls, gopher tortoises, snakes, and more.
Before exploring the trails make sure you have enough water to stay hydrated and check out a map available at the reserve to properly plan your hiking experience.
