 Waldo Wright's Flying Service
Waldo Wrights Flying Service offers plane rides in one of two open cockpit bi-planes, the Travel Air and the Stearman. Depending on the plane, costs vary depending on if you want to ride or you’d like to actually fly the plane. The plane has dual controls and a modern intercom system so guests will have no problem taking a lesson in this restored bi-plane.

For a flying lesson in the Stearman, guests must be at least 10 years old AND over 5 feet tall, and not weigh more than 275 lbs.

Those taking a ride in the Travel Air must adhere to the following height and weight restrictions: For two passengers to fit side by side in this aircraft, each must weigh less than 200 lbs. No one more than 275 lbs can board the plane and guest weighing between 200-275 lbs must pay for both seats on the flight as a single rider.

The company will provide flying helmets and goggles but you can expect it to be about 3-7 degrees cooler during your flight than it is on the ground. If you are going to fly the Stearman dress in comfortable clothes because you will be climbing in and out of the cockpit. Soft soled shoes are recommended and no heels please.

While this tour is open to to anyone, you will need to be able to get up on a wing that's about two feet above the ground and then into the cockpit.
